Centipede is easy, but it just doesn’t look great.

It’s never marketed as a quality turf. Its only advantage is cost and ease of care. You can cut it once every 2 weeks and it’ll be fine. No need to fertilize.

But it’ll never look “great”.

Our weather in LA is also still a little odd for our lawns. Not really warm enough for rapid growth, but still warm enough for green up.
