These odds suck for everyone except Scottie but I'll play along.

Yeah hopefully OP isn’t really betting $100 total on 4 guys to only get back $200.

I think you’d be better off just betting on 3 guys & hedge with Scottie.

Outside of Scottie, I put money on Lowery, Kirk, and Cam Smith.

Playing pretty poorly and hasn't played all that well at Augusta historically (only one top 10 five years ago). Not sure I'd back that one.

I like Niemann on this course and in his current form, but everyone seems to be piling up on him, and that screams hyped-but-fell-flat. For other LIV guys, Bryson is actually playing damn well, too, but I still don't think this is a great course fit for him. Brooks isn't playing that great, but he is so good from 150 - 225 that it just really makes up so much even if he isn't in top form.

Sahith Theegala is a great course fit and is pretty hot. Hideki's numbers and trend are just screaming for him right now.

But the gap between Scottie and everyone else right now is just absurd. He is 0.92 true SG better than anyone else over the last five events. That is just a touch less than the difference between #2 (Hideki) and #11 (Burns) over the same time period. That is about the difference between Burns and #71 or so (Mackenzie Hughes). That is peak Tiger. He could have his B game and still win this week.

This. Spieth loves him some Augusta.

I’ve seen reports about Koepka making a change to mallet putter ahead of Masters.

Apparently he used it last weekend at LIV Miami & finished T-41st (out of 54) in putting.

Tyrell Hatton has been putting really well, but his driver seems to be an issue

The guy with perpetual putting issues has the best odds on the course with the trickiest greens. As great as Scottie is, I don't think this is his year at Augusta.

You don’t have to putt great to win the Masters anymore. Sergio was not a good putter. Scottie was not a good putter two years ago. Approach is far more important in the last 10 years. Scottie is the best at strokes gained on approach in 2024.

If you have not paid much attention in the last few months, his putting has improved immensely since he started working with Phil. Scottie is way better with the putter in the last seven months. Since switching to putting instructor Phil Kenyon, moving to a mallet, lowering his front shoulder and changing his grip, his putting is far better than it has ever been. He’s no. 1 in greens in regulation and still no. 34 in putts per round this year.

Matsuyama, Scottie, Brooks and Wyndham.
