The 2 biggest increases are not on the list.
STEAKS...all cuts. Only ground beef is on the list.
PET FOOD... especially dog food.

There is another "hidden inflation" in groceries as well.

With the hyperinflation on grocery prices, the demand for "generic store brand" cleans out the shelves every week.

If your budget was based on a reliable supply of "generic store brand" items, you are now forced to buy named brands because on the wrong day or wrong time... the generic brand shelves have been wiped clean.

And a 40% grocery inflation pushes closer to 60-80%.

I used to feed my dogs Royal Canin. Switched to Science Diet. It's a little cheaper.

I'd say a big bag of some brands have doubled in price in 4 years.
