I admit, Smoke was a disaster post Bertman. Nobody on the planet was going to come close to Skip, who by the way, gave the keys to Laval.
LSU won’t come close to winning a National Championship with this club. I don’t see Crews, Skenes, etc. walking through the door anytime soon.

JJ won the Skenes & White bidding sweepstakes last year. That was the CWS. Let’s not think he’s a great coach just yet.

Navigating the transfer portal is a big part of coaching.
He hit a 500 foot home run with it last year, whiffed big time this year.
