I think not, if you say this phrase you’re gay.

Is this a new sports phrase or something? Can you give me an example? I’m definitely out of the loop on this one.

I have never heard this phrase. But then, I don't have live television anymore and the Japanese midget porn sites don't talk about it, so...

Some sad people on this board are annoyed at everything.

What phrase would you suggest people use to describe the phenomenon?

Based on your Op, I get the sense that you would absolutely freak out if someone used “Umbra”.

This.

I couldn’t care less about the eclipse tomorrow but the people who do aren’t bothering anyone. Let them have their fun.

I haven't paid any attention to the eclipse. I'm too worried about the price of groceries to notice.

I don't disagree. Ever since this eclipse talk heated up I've heard "path of totality" almost every day.

I put it right up there with meteorologists and their hurricane cone. At least the eclipse path doesn't change like the cone does.

Yeah because “path of total eclipse” sounds much better?

I will not be in the path of totality tomorrow

Before I can hate it it, I first have to know what it means.

There is an episode of family guy that makes fun of people who travel to upstate New York or New Hampshire to see the leaves change. Peter called them leafers.

I would like to to call all people traveling to the path of totality as eclipsers.

My brother is one of them. He is driving up I-49 to Arkansas to find a spot tomorrow to watch the festivities.

Meanwhile, I will be at work.

It’s a technical term for the areas where you can see the total eclipse. If you haven’t seen one before, there’s a decent difference between 100% and 99%.

Why does sufficient clarification of where you’ll see the eclipse bother you so much?

Small dick syndrome. They can’t satisfy anyone so nothing will satisfy them.
