How much would it take for you to take a .177 pellet to the stomach? No shirt, 10 feet away, strong gun capable of 1000 feet per second.

I'm thinking I'd need at least $10K to do this.

A pump Benjamin Sheridan .177 cocked 10x to the gut will frick you up. Hit the liver or kidney and you will have a problem.

Edit: I feel like some of you are talking red rider BB gun. That’s not shite. A .177 cal pellet gun that is sitting in my garage to your gut and I promise you’ll be asking for a doctor.

Anyone saying “no big deal” , “we did this as kids” , “I’d do it for a beer” doesn’t even have a BASIC understanding of weapon ballistics.

You ding dongs do realize that 1000 fps meets or exceeds some factory .22 long rifle loads?

So now, internet tough guys- how many of y’all will take a point blank shot to the gut from a .22?

You don't know shite about ballistics do you?

ETA: yeah the poster above gets it. A red ryder is going roughly 195 mph. You're talking a .177 caliber pellet travelling right under the speed of sound.

Before the invention of paintball and airsoft guns, us kids in the 70's and 80"s used to have BB gun wars. Many of us had pellet guns...

I’d take a BB gun but hell no to a pellet gun. Idk what kind of cheap pellet guns you guys had as kids but the one I had was a perfectly viable weapon for killing rabbits, squirrels, birds etc. You would 100% regret voluntarily taking one to the gut.
