The highest gust I've seen is 71mph, but I don't know about that station.

And a 59mph gust at this one.

Is the severe threat over in Mobile now?

No, the line you can see starting to coalesce near New Orleans is going to go through Mobile in a couple of hours.

Thanks, I turned on storm tracks and it shows 18 red cones that say tornado. Surely that’s not confirmed tornados so what do those mean?

I’m sure they picked up hook echos all over the place this AM especially north of I-10. The new Hammond radar station got a workout I guess.

Slidell took a pretty bad lick from this.

The tree damage is unbelievable.

I still don’t understand why SPC has the level 2/5 slight risk as far north in Alabama as they do. There’s really no chance of severe weather for the northern half of Alabama in this setup.

anybody know where a majority of the tornado damage in Slidell took place.

Got a friend off of Bayou Liberty Road I'm trying to check in on, hasn't responded to my messages.

Just assuming with the power out and other things he doesn't have a strong 5g signal

I live much closer to the Lake, but that isn't *that* far from my house. Damn.
