I could see the corona and there was a red glow like fire poking out in certain parts.

The most beautiful and wonderous thing I have ever seen.

Next total solar eclipse for Baton Rouge: May 11, 2078

I'll be dead (or 107 years old).

When it went dark, it went dark FAST. The last remaining light before totality looked like bright flashlight, then, boom, it was Midnight.

For eclipses it’s totality or nothing.

In Bossier, not sure what the % was but that was pretty awesome.

My office is across the street from a middle school and they had the whole school in the stands and they were are yelling and cheering when it was at it's peak. Glad they let the kids out to see it.

Crazy how dark it got.

When totality occured, I prostrated facing the Midnight Son.

I prayed outloud without ceasing during the entire four minutes of totality, giving Praise to the Creator.

When totality ended, it was again like a bright flashlight for a moment and then the Light returned within 30 seconds.

I prostrated again facing the New Son at that time and thanked the Almighty for returning the Light to His Children.

I hope all of you enjoyed this special event today.
