No but being up by 4 and pulling the infield in to cut down the 1 run was just another in the long list of bonehead decisions she has made over the years. Bergeron has to make that play but she should never have had to.

Anytime I think about watching softball, I’ll remember the coach played the infield in up 4 runs in the late innings.

Absolutely, that was a disastrous coaching decision, Beth is an idiot for doing that. With a 4 run lead, you get an out wherever you can. If we would have just thrown to first we would have only given up 3 runs that inning and win the game. Horrible coaching.
