It might look good, but it’s hard to tell for me personally bc I can’t get past that awful color.

Coming to the pickup lane near you

Looks like a bronco fricked a tundra. Ugly

Ignore the high strung, over-stressed engine that’s too small for a heavy vehicle. Don’t even consider the cost of rebuilding the turbo at 100k miles.
Yep, because Toyota is definitely know for their motors failing at 100k.

The blue one must be a 2wd Limited trim with the big arse airdam.
The TRD Pro and TrailHunter look decent, I'll reserve full judgement until I see one in person, initial reaction is I'd rather the Land Cruiser.
Also, glad they got rid of that UGLY roof rack on the Pro models.

It keeps raining we might need to rush order that snorkeled unit.

This is a 80k suv
I doubt that. Current TRD Pro is ~$55k. I expect the TRD Pro 4Runner to be probably ~$59ish, and the TrailHunter to be ~$65k.
Typically the TRD Off Road Premium package is the best bang for your buck as you get all the offroad gadgets without the fluff shite.

He didn't say engine, he said Turbo... And He's not wrong, Turbo life average is 150k miles

We had a 3.0 V6 sling a rod at 67k, perfectly maintained. Toyota does in fact have motors in its portfolio that are pretty bad.

Bottom trim package way better than the top one (which I also think looks rav 4 or subaru-ish)

I was going to say Nissan Xterra

I'm sure they're great vehicles, roomy, comfortable, utilitarian, versatile, etc., etc., but that thing is ugly. Most SUVs are.

This is a disappointing design to me. IDK what I was expecting but I'm not a fan.

Just replace with a T66 turbo and throw in a MoTec system exhaust as well.

Not as good looking at the Sequoia. A little disappointed.

Looks sharp, but give me the Land Cruiser
Posted on 4/9/24 at 12:50 pm to wileyjones
No thanks, I'll be keeping my FJ Cruiser.
