TP pulled the shite out of a shot down the foul line in fair territory, looked off the bat to be clearing by 20 ft but next thing you know, kullivan catches it backing up into fence. Was going over for sure if not for the glove there.

Naw---this was over the top. The left fielder ran all the way from her position to go celebrate with the right fielder, to the point where she wasn't actually set back in left field when the next pitch was delivered.
SLU was a bit cocky the entire game---and I like that. They got off the bus with every intention on winning the game and they busted LSU's arse for most of the night. I just think they got a bit carried away with their celebrating at times, while LSU stayed calm and figured out how to actually win the game.

There's no mention on the about it being Petty's first HR of the season. This team just keep finding ways to win. Newland uncharacteristically goes 0-4 with a strikeout - no problem, others step up.

The ball has to hit the plate not the river and top of knee to belly button…that’s what good umpires call…too many ppl are used to 2 and 3 balls off the plate and chest high

she was random and inconsistent on top of a most of the time non existent strike zone.

Laura King, the home plate umpire, was horrible in the late innings. She is not good at calling high school softball and someone let her call college games.

Probably told that gal you better not hit a 3 run homer. Man,3 pages of Rant people talking about softball. This must be a first. Normally it's not manly to watch SB accordlingly to some people on the rant.

Umpires should call the strike zone by the rule book. That would make them a good umpire, not some made up stuff.

It was a great play by RF. She almost (could have) lost the ball from her glove and it definitely would have cleared the fence. One of the best outfield catches at the fence you will see this year. Props again to SLE for showing up. Any other night they would win that game IMHO. This LSU team is competitive to the end. You should go out and watch a game. Great venue!
