NFL to allow a 3rd helmet design in 2025

But there's still dumb restrictions on when you can wear them.
~Alternate helmets cannot be worn with the teams primary uniform
~Alternate helmets may only be worn with Alternate, color rush or classic uniforms.
~An Alternate helmet worn with a classic uniform must be "historically compatible"
So white helmet or classic gold?

I would imagine that's the NFL's way of keeping all teams equal or uniform (no pun intended.)
Try to prevent certain popular teams from having multiple uniforms they can sell and make a lot of money, thus making other less popular team's jealous

I dont mind us having a black helmet, but they need to burn everyone of the current black ones and start over.
