Jack was one of the maybe 8 players that traveled the world to play all the majors at the time. The best players in Europe routinely didn’t come for the US Open or Masters and the best US players routinely didn’t go to the UK for the Open. Go look at the top 20s when he was playing and winning.

The first European winner of the Masters wasn’t until 83 with Seve.

I love Jack. But you’ll never convince me he played as tough competition.
