Back in 2009 or 2010, I stopped to eat at the McDonald’s right off of the causeway. As I was waiting in line to order, in walked Steven Seagal in a full sheriff deputy uniform and black sunglasses. Before I could say a word to him, he did a little karate kick, stepped right around me and cut in line. He ordered 6 McRibs, and as the cashier rang up his order, he shadow boxed the promo board on the counter. After he paid and before exited the restaurant, he turned to me and said “in case you were wondering, I do my own stunts.”

What says the OT? Have you ever met a celebrity before?

I rode around Chalmette in a Suburban with Mark Wahlberg for a few hours one afternoon.

I guided Peyton Manning on a duck hunt.

I drove Dan Quayle from the airport to the golf course about 2 years after he was Vice President.

I was at a cocktail party with Bill Clinton on Martha's Vineyard about three days before JFK Jr crashed his plane out there.

The ones I can think of off the top of my head are:

David Allan Coe
Billy the Exterminator
Terry Bradshaw
Donna Douglas

saw Ron Howard in Best Buy in Lafayette once, but didn't talk to him.

Forgot to add…I met Ron Jeremy in BR years ago and he’s the type of scumbag you’d expect. But he did give us free tickets to the “comedy” show he was putting on at the Gold Club.

My dad said this guy was some famous 90's R&B singer. I still have no clue who he is.

Every single one I ever met was just a regular person IRL and cool because I was cool and not a fanboy. Keep it real with them, they'll usually keep it real with you. Sometimes the security detail can be trippy.

Edit: holy frick balls we got Pac and OJ, may they rest in peace, in this thread already???

Ozzy Osborne at a book signing in Dallas about 15 years ago.

Samuel L Jackson walking out of a casino in Shreveport 10-15 years ago. Real nice guy. Stopped and talked to my group for 10 minutes or so.

Well not quite celebrity status but met Kenny Wayne Shephard at a music store and played guitar some with him. Other than that just Deuce McAllister on a plane. Both were nice people

Most famous was Richard Simmons. If you were in Kiwanis back in the day you knew his brother Lenny.

Reggie Jackson, Jerry Rice, and Steve Young.

My dad saw an ad for a football 'camp' being put on by the 49ers when I was 12. It was pretty expensive but it said there were four slots available for underprivileged kids, so he said 'what the hell' and called and put my name in (we were solid middle class), and lo and behold, I was selected.

When we got to the training facility in Santa Clara I was assigned to my 'sponsor' who turned out to be Reggie freakin' Jackson. We spent the day doing various drills and what not, catching passes from Steve Young, throwing passes to Jerry Rice and things with other players.

And the four of us 'poor kids' got to do a bunch of stuff the paying kids didn't, like tour the facility and eat lunch with the team.

I crashed at Puffy Daddy's crib after a party one night. I was black out drunk and he was nice enough to let me stay the night.

Was working at Blockbuster in Covington before/after Katrina - Alec Baldwin came in one day looking for some obscure movie nobody had ever heard of and no store in a 100 mile radius had. He was doing habitat for humanity work I believe, came in to get his ego stroke for the day I guess.
