Ehh, I believe the talent doesn't meet expectations nor ratings. Haven't seen much growth in most 2nd - 3rd year guys and Travinski has been in a deep hole for many weeks. I'd leave Kling in the lineup for his glove and range.

While I agree. I will say that if you’re going to replace everyone in this lineup who can’t hit you’re going to end up with Wanaka playing 2nd base.

He’s just not that good. But because he’s fast and can hit BP pitching, people get it in their head that he will some day be an elite player.

All of our freshmen seem so terribly overmatched against SEC pitching.
Maybe they will get better after summer ball and next year, etc…
But man, this is painful and sad and frustrating to watch m.

It’s truly impressive that we have exactly 0 young hitters who are ready to face SEC pitching. Young guys around the league are going off, and we have A total of 0 young guys that have stepped and played to their recruiting ranking. It really doesn’t make sense.

He’s hitting .105 against SEC pitchers. I think it would be hard to find someone WORSE than that on the bench.

Best change up in the game. He was Jacksonville States best player last year. He hit like 16 homeruns playing 1st last year also. He also hit 93mph once tonight.

It's not really. They were average his first year, they were average most of the year last year , and have been terrible this year.
Almost everyone he has brought in has underperformed.
He was slightly over 500 in the PAC 12.
He's gotten lucky but he's not very good.
