There really isn’t a good excuse for being this awful.

It’s concerning.

Your an idiot to ! Jay is to close to this thing ! What a lazy take ! HES THE DAMN HEAD COACH YOU THINK HE DOES T HAVE TO BE TO DAMN CLOSE YOU MORON ! God help you !

Only your first and last sentences are coherent, and even they have errors. To start with, when the word that is a homonym to the number 2 is used to mean “also” it is spelled with two O’s - “too”. Anyway, I have no idea which side of this issue you are trying to support.

No Doubt he is the Ed O of baseball. Had a team so talented last year and he could not F Up! Guy is a Moron!

He is 35 games away from winning a national title.
Who are these coaches that won national titles without elite talent?

Jay isn’t doing a good job this year but he’s not a retarded man child that stole a job because the AD was an incompetent cu n t

Say what you want about the retarded manchild (and he definitely did some retarded stuff and needed to be fired when he was canned), but he was ultimately the one who got guys like Burrow, Chase, etc., to come to LSU and was smart enough to allow the LSU offense to change into something no one will ever forget. Burrow said Orgeron personally convinced him to go to LSU. The rest is history.

With that said, Jay has a record of being a successful head coach. Ed O did not have that same success before taking over the LSU job (only limited success as an interim coach at USC).

Pitching is not his forte
He needs to find a long term pitching coach
Pitchers are usually creatures of habit
This is pitching coach number three
No continuity and it shows in the staff makeup

Orgeron got totally off balance with his divorce and did not give a crap about anything but chasing tail while knowing that there was nothing LSU could do but give him a powerball retirement.
Johnson appears to care with no real distractions but has somehow managed to take a national championship team and run it immediately into the cellar of the SEC. Perplexing especially considering the preseason expectations of being in Omaha as one of the favorites to win it all again. This team has historically collapsed and probably will not even play in Hoover.
Seat is not hot for at least another season. Worse LSU baseball team I can recall in years. How does he turn it around?

Leave it the Rant to start a thread to bitch about which national championship coach they hate the most.

If Mainieri had soo much talent on his teams, why did he not make the CWS once in his final three full years here?

The fans begging the question for this are the problem with the fanbase. Never satisfied.

It never ceases to amaze me how quick our "fans" turn on the coach with any adversity. Especially with ludicrous comparisons and ignorant hyperbole. It's pretty simple; if you're going to be miserable, don't watch. Come back when we're good again and fake your fandom.

He left him no pitchers. Tell me again who LSU's Friday night starter was his first season? What he did with that team was more miraculous than last season. That was unreal impressive to win that many games without any starting pitching. And people on here say he isn't good with pitching. Some of y'all quickly forget some stuff. He managed the pitching perfectly in postseason last year too.

Mainieri wasn't winning in Omaha with his players. The players Johnson brought over were every bit as important FWIW. Mainieri once had what 1 left handed pitcher on the team? Disgusting to manage like that. His last recruiting class he left Johnson was an absolute joke and we are seeing that right now.

For real, tell me who was LSU's Friday night pitcher was after Mainieri left.

Jay has also brought in guys like Paul Skenes, Jacob Berry and Tommy White. He will do it again.

It's one down season after losing a ridiculous amount of vets. It sucks, but I don't care how bad this season is as long it gets corrected. Jay has already proven to correct things season to season.

Seriously frick this place right now. Y'all are ridiculous with this catastrophic shite.

This years team is not a national championship team. Last years was. He lost the best pitcher and best offensive player in the nation. While I didn't think we'd play this bad I also didn't think we'd be a shoe in for Omaha. That being said Jay is a good coach and he will right the ship in the portal and through recruiting.

Ed Orgeron lost more players, lost more coaches, had to rebuild during covid without practices, and still finished .500 in the SEC the next year.
