Brandon and Eric had been socializing with Credeur. There is a social media post of the three at a casino from Feb. (I believe).

I lived across the street from there when I was at ULL. It was getting sketchy 20 years ago, so I’d imagine it’s full blown ghetto by now.

You talking about the apartments themselves?

Chad shot and killed them, from what I've gathered. Two confirmed victims are Brandon Touchet (45) and Eric Green (49).

Eric Green was a professor at ULL. I've had him twice, and I'm currently in his class for Child Psychology. Not sure how the rest of the class will go.

Dr. Green was SUCH a light, and he loved what he did. He worked with traumatized children as a psychotherapist. Praying for his family and friends. I'm heartbroken.

Waiting for ULL to send ANOTHER email, I guess. Since there was that suicide on campus this week.

The apartments in that area didn’t go full blown ghetto until Northside was labeled Upper Lafayette, and this section of the Southside was labeled MidCity. We have always had ghetto pockets (Woodvale Place Apartments, and Normandy Circle to name two) but with what’s happening at 110 W Bayou Parkway Condos, and on Rena Dr, it seems we’re being surrounded.

A couple of years ago, some city/parish workers found a former Ole Miss track athlete's body in a coulee on the other side of College in that small residential area.

The guy, who was naked and had been shot, had some significant drug charges in his past.

He has a rap on youtube that is pretty good.

So the missing person facebook post said the victim had not been heard from since Wednesday evening. They arrest this guy friday afternoon and discover the bodies shortly after. This criminal was hanging around to get caught?

Also, since it’s apartments were there no calls about gunshots in the area? You’d imagine the neighbors heard it fairly loud.

This him?

Now I’m not so sure it was over drugs. Maybe something else if you get what I’m saying

Yes, that's him.

I'm pretty sure he is openly gay. Not sure if that has anything to do with the killing.

He was a very sweet man. Still praying it's not true.

I started making a lengthier, drawn-out post, but I deleted it.

I'm not trying to make a case beyond reasonable doubt. However, it's pretty clear this guy is the culprit.

Do we know the manner in which they died?

Good point.

I don't recall seeing that.

This guy shot someone a few years ago, so that made it easy to assume he did the same thing.

Ok gotcha because the general area around the apartments is not remotely ghetto.

But almost all apartment complexes eventually turn to shite

I remember. The body was found in Coulee Mine, off of Hillside Dr.

My concern is this area is slowly deteriorating. Granted, our housing prices keep most degenerates out but we are being surrounded by areas of crime. That Latin establishment on Johnston is doing no favors, either.

Credeur is being charged with first degree murder, according to The Acadiana Advocate. One victim wasn't identified. I have read it was Brandon's neighbor, a female.

Last night, I mistakenly assumed it was Credeur's female friend who was seen on camera at Brandon's apt.
