I feel like I made it past season 1 and can’t verify because they removed it from Netflix.
It’s very vague bc it was many years ago, but I feel like once the Hatch became a science experiment (sometime like that) I lost interest somewhat.
When it gets released back on a platform, I’ll try picking it back up.

It is on Hulu now. Not sure if Netflix will get it back
Consider LOST as a ride. You are not going to know whats going on at all times. And some answers will not come fast. If you are one of those people who need to analyze everything when it happens and know exactly what its about, LOST may not be for you. The hatch thing definitely gets explained later and makes sense. As much as anything. You just have to buckle up and ride for a while
