Honestly, yes. Doing this two years in a row would be major cause for concern. I still think Jay is a top 5 coach in college baseball, but his evaluations for putting the 2024 team together have proven to be awful. The older players who are underperforming will likely be asked to look around. I’d guess we hit the portal as hard as anyone for proven veterans to turn this thing around asap.
