Most surprising win - 2022 against Mississippi State. Third game of the season if I recall and with an opener loss and a new staff in place, it was nice to get a conference win at home.

Most disappointing loss - last year against FSU. Promising first drive but the game went sideways in the second half. Didn’t see that coming.

Most surprising win? 2023 vs Missouri. I couldn't believe we came back from a 7-22 deficit and beat a good Missouri team, and actually made a couple of stops and a key interception in the second half, and won by 10!

Most disappointing loss? V. Alabama the same season. Tigers got up 28-21 in the 3rd quarter. After the brief lead, what followed showcased 2 things: the worthlessness of House and his defense, and the obvious biased officiating in favor of Bama.

That Bama loss was a backbreaker last year, as it ended any title aspirations (SEC and/or national) for this LSU team.

I agree - about mid-way thru 2nd quarter of FSU game I actually had the thought “we have the momentum and FSU isn’t anything spectacular. After all this hype it will disappoint everyone when we pull away and win 38-16”. Instead, FSU noticed we did not know how to cover a crossing route…
