Royal Caribbean cruise - 6 days out of Miami

Anyone have any suggestions about how to make this easy as possible?

Any hotels that offer reasonable parking for guests and shuttle service?

Park and rides?

Fly into FLL, rent a car, stay the night in Ft Lauderdale and drop the car off at the rental location in Miami near the port on embarkation day then they will bring you to the cruise terminal

We stayed at the Hilton Miami on Biscayne in January. Just Uber to port, was very easy

Are you driving or flying in?

I’ve only ever flown in, so can’t give advice on parking long term.

Had family that stayed at Hampton Inn Suites Blue Lagoon. They had a comp shuttle from MIA to the hotel. To get from the hotel to the port was $14pp. He said it was cheaper than an Uber XL which they needed for all of their luggage.

We're driving in, likely the day before the cruise. Will need a place to leave our car for the duration.

Port Miami parking is $22/day.

Check your hotel to see if it’s less than that.

Stay in an area where the family can get a cool “Miami experience.” Then park at the place that’s easiest for you. I’d recommend parking at your cruise line terminal’s designated garage. Then, when you get back, you don’t have to shuttle anywhere.

Doing 7 days on Norwegian Breakaway on the 19th... flying into Miami on 18th and staying at JW Marriott... any good food suggestions? Just me on this birthday trip.

Also getting back on Sunday morning at 7am. I'm on a flight back from MIA at 12:05 using cruise shuttle. Is that enough time to catch my flight? Or should I change to a later flight?
