More dump BI obsession? There must be a cure for that somewhere.

Why do y'all want Trae Young? It makes no sense.

Why would we want a legitimate point guard that is not afraid to take 10 3’s a night and can give you double digit assists and is basically the perfect fit around Zion?

Gee, not sure

Because he would trade it all back on the defensive end. He would be a BIG liability on the defensive end. We need size in a terrible way especially with no athletic center in the mix.

I’m all in on Fox and Darius Garland if possible. It would be awesome if we can use our draft picks with BI to get Cade Cunningham!

There is, it's trading BI.

You will be the last person to realize it's the right decision. It is what it is.

One of the first calls I am making is to Utah for Lauri to try and see if we can make something work. Multi team deal, whatever.

I'd love to have him on this team.

Danny Ainge has mentioned Jazz want to make a splash this offseason. It’ll be interesting to see how they view BI- or if hes the splash player they’re looking for.

Yea, I'd give up what's left of the war chest for Lauri+Kessler

Probably not realistic, but definitely should be one of the first calls.

KAT maybe 2nd? Not sure if I'm missing another possible dude that should be atop the list. Bam, but I view him as less realistic than Lauri even, so no point adding him to a list IMO.

bruh... you should have use NBA 2K24 as your point of reference... everyone know that if 2K lets the trade go down, then IRL is gospel

I imagine Bam would only be moved if Dame was going to MIA and only then if MIA had to deal Bam to make it work, but that would not have him going to Nola. Even if they blew it up, why move Bam?

Cant believe I'm agreeing with the trade Ingram banter, but the writing is on the wall and the "data" is in... Zion and B.I. don't mesh. The offense changes drastically when either one of them takes a seat and is inefficient and ineffective with both of them on the court. So, if the coach and brass is not gonna change (Willie likely save himself with the late season, unfortunate injuries), major roster change is imminent. You can't sell the "run it back" campaign any longer.

Trade B.I., receive back a quality starter-- either PG, SG, C and a rotational vet that WILL be more than a Nance throwin, look to trade 1st round draft pick for an identified target that just needs reps to flourish, sign a key free agent with the MLE. Look to develop further over the summer with the goal of being a starter-- Jordan Hawkins. Sign Matt Ryan to a regular contract with the intent to make him a key rotational pick moving forward. Summer done.

I read a good bit about what he said in their media availibility, and I'd say it would not surprise me at all if he traded Lauri this offseason.

All he talked about was having flexibility more than anything, and not giving up assets to go from 24th to 18th.

Would trade BI for Lauri in a heartbeat.

I thought i wanted Bam, but the more I think about it, the more i want a 5 that can shoot more than anything.

I don't want him in the lane if Zion is in there. KAT and Lauri fit that bill.
Bam took a few threes this year and shot them ok, same with Mobley, but i'd rather a guy that's going to be a serious threat from 3. The are both great defenders, but we had a top 10 defense with JV and Nance. I'm pretty sure we can sustain that with Lauri or KAT.

I think our offense would get taken to another level with a guy like that. There's no more JV's man sagging in the lane helping build that wall.
The wall only works if there's someone who can jump and challenge Zion's shot. Zion doesn't give a shite if the wall is 3 dudes under 6'7".

If it was possible to get Lauri and save money as the Jazz have a ton of cap space, then i'd love to go get Jonathon Isaac from Orlando. He can still shoot, and he was great defensively this year. I have a feeling he's going to come out of this Cavs series getting recognized again.
Between Paolo, Mo Wagner and WCJ, there aren't many minutes left for Isaac at the 4/5, but he played great this year in the minutes he got.
