Came Across "The Wraith" on Encore Last Night

As a young LSUPERMAN, I remember wanting that car so bad! It was such a awesome looking car. Then the topless scene popped up (along with something else) and I forgot all about that car. lol.

Wasn't this movie originally PG and retroactively made it PG-13?

She was one of the most underrated hotties of that time period. I think about skinny chicks like Helen Slater or Lori Singer being so in demand versus a girl like Finn in the 80s and it’s a funny contrast to every decade since.

The Wraith exists in such a weird vacuum. The definition of a tweener movie. Its pretty good. But not too good. It's violent, but not too violent. It was both too early and too late on the movie and cultural scenes in the late '80s--arriving at the tail end of the metal movement but just before grunge hit. It's why 2 1/2 star ratings were invented.

As an aside, I posted Sherilynn Fenn up from The Wraith in the OT thread about "hottest actresses of all time." Sherilynn was obviously sexy (and nude) in plenty of other movies of the time, but she was drop-dead stunning in The Wraith.

And how the frick was this movie rated PG-13 with multiple scenes showing breasts during sensual moments?

I remember buying the soundtrack on vinyl at New Generation.
