Thanks for the replies- much appreciated.
My fridge is 19 years old and I can’t find any parts.
Am I out of luck due to the age or is there a way to find the parts?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Or am I out of luck because Sanyo is not a popular brand?
I called Ideal appliance parts in Metairie and they don’t carry Sanyo parts.

pretty much
the way they build them, stuff changes so fast, parts for things more than 10 yrs old dont always fit right
maybe you can directly source a part if it has a part number printed on it
but at 19 yrs old, i doubt you can find any parts that arent super generic stuff that hasnt changed in all that time.
you need to have someone with a little electrical experience use a test meter on it, and see if its the compressor, or the thermostat, or something else. it could just be a bad wire somewhere
