I don't know that Caleb Williams counts as a true transfer, because he just stuck with Lincoln Riley. When Riley moved, so did he.
And it should be noted- if you start at QB for Riley, you're going to be a Heisman finalist. He had Mayfield and Murray winning, and brought Hurts to NYC.

As for the others, it's really a mixed bag for teams signing guys out of high school. You hope you pick the right young guy, because the other guy will transfer somewhere he can start, and often to a more potent offense that just needs a trigger man. And if you don't make some serious noise, the guy you picked to start will look at going to a team with a higher ceiling, again with an opening at QB.
Nussmeier may be an oddity in today's game, in that he waited 3 yrs to get his shot, and even then he really probably stayed because Kelly promised him the job when Daniels left.
