Self Sufficient correct? Self sufficient in my definition is no required help from other sources. The EV's battery should recharge itself, no? Or contain a a source within or on the vehicle, such as a solar panel, but doesn't need to plug into another charging source. That is how I view a self sufficient item.

I am guessing you didn't know your engine can be shut off remotely even if it's a gas engine
