That feeling you get when you finally learn how to tie a tie

When I was a kid I taught myself how for horse shows. Prior to that my dad had to tie it loosely and I’d slip it over my head. I was so excited when I could do it myself

I used to wear one daily for years. On the rare occasion that I wear one now, I usually still nail it on the first try.

I could tie a necktie when I was seven years old. Watched my Dad tie one every morning. I wanted to learn.


It doesn’t suprise me that some men never learn. The majority of men can’t even tie up a boat properly.
