If we can find a way to get a game out the first two I think we see him this series. If we go down 0-2 the risk/reward probably isn’t worth it.

So he might come back in two weeks but there's no way he's coming back during the postseason????????

When will you guys understand that “reevaluated in 2 weeks” doesn’t necessarily mean “he may be back in 2 weeks”?

I mean seriously, have you guys been following our injury history, specifically Zion’s, and how they’ve been handled?

You're playing yourself if you have ANY expectation for Zion to recover quickly from a lower body injury and/or our FO to clear him quickly for a lower body injury. If he comes back in 2 weeks, awesome, it'll be great for the team. But anyone that is expecting him to be back at any point in the postseason, I got some awesome beachfront property in Kansas to show you.

Fans are a funny thing. This is completely reasonable and even probable based on past experiences. Everyone downvoting this will likely be the ones bitching loudest when he doesn't go.

If he wants to try and go and they hold him out, he's done as a Pelican..

Who gives a shite if he's out until next year.. who gives a shite if he misses the beginning of next season. He played most of this season and we were in the play-in again..

It's now or never (assuming he feels like he can go)

Don’t disagree at all. I’ll just believe it when it happens.

We were in the play in as a 49-33 team.. context matters. We had our 2nd best season ever with a healthy Zion. Stop trying to minimize the season just because the west was historically competitive this season. Our record this season would have given us the 3rd seed last year and we wouldn’t have to hear people like you bitching that Zion doesn’t work, when he clearly does

Idk man. Dude missed HALF A SEASON the last time he tweeked a hammy. I'm hoping he could come back but I don't see it for this series. Maayybbee 2nd round. Maybe

There's low downside unlike during the middle of the season. If he tweaks it again, he's right where he was a week ago.

Yeah I don't get the "don't make it worse crowd" Zion will do everything he can to play.
