12 games is not a fair assessment when you’ve played 40. Do the other 28 now.

Think you wont find a clearcut answer to who is a better hitter using 40 game samples either. Milazzo has a higher ba and obp, neal has a better slugging and ops.
And why shouldnt recent success be a fair assessment when trying to set a lineup? Should we only use season long metrics?

If a player hits .400 the first part of the schedule & .170 more recently, you don’t exactly have the same guy huh
