re: What’s your best story of an answered prayer?

I’m not religious, but a man of faith. I’m certainly imperfect and a sinner. I’m not a man who prays for a sign, but I had a similar situation where I prayed two years ago for God to show me if I should look for another job after being at my job at the time for more than 20 years. Later that day, I had a friend call me that I haven’t talked to in 10+ years. He said that God laid it on his heart to reach out to me and see if I would be interested in interviewing with his company. Long story short, I didn’t get the job, but it showed me God had other plans for me. Fast forward a year and a half, I’m in a new job that I love with better pay and much better quality of life.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

As you spend more time seeking Him, your heart will align more with His. Being a Christian has many highs and many lows. Trusting Him is what it is all about. Glad to hear things are going well for you. Keep the faith!
