i gotta defend my boy a little here. yeah, he famously cant draw feet well, and his proportions got a bit whacky (especially during that early to mid 90s era), but that style was very much of its era. he was far from the only artist in the mid 90s drawing crazy proportions like that. he is a pretty fricking great artist though. yeah you can google "bad liefeld art" for a laugh, but he has some pretty phenomenal stuff as well.

There is wild speculation that the main antagonist ties Deadpool and Wolverine to X-Men '97 because, in E for Extinction, the arc that the attack on Genosha is based off of, the individual responsible for the MasterMold attack is CASSANDRA NOVA (who is the antagonist of D&W).
