According to shea LSU is expecting to get down to 79 scholarship players from departures. And they intend on going into fall camp with 85 scholarship players which would mean 6 transfers in the spring window if all goes according to plan. Barrow, West, and Williams all have their visits set and more DL are expected to enter soon.

I'd sure love a CB1 too. Would help the rest of the defense out so much if we had a pretty lockdown guy on the perimeter.

A man can dream.

Must be another WR leaving too if looking at adding one of those

My guess would be Ibieta. I highly doubt he will ever get on the field here.

The writing is also on the wall for Jordan Allen, Rickie Collins, and Kimo.

Not sure why we took Ausberry... but I understand his dad works in administration.

Rickie Collins is the backup QB as of now. The other QB on roster behind him just hit puberty and Underwood hasn't signed anything. He has a ton of eligibility left and we have great offensive coaches for him to learn under, he'd be foolish to transfer right now.

Now, I could see a few different scenarios next offseason that would make it make sense to transfer.

You’re forgetting about Swann but I think Rickie will win the QB2 Job

The same reason why Langlois has been on the roster for so long. Both of those last names have some power within the program.

With how insane the rules are today I don't see why Patrick Peterson can't come back for a senior season if he feels like it.

Can Ibieta take a medical retirement and transfer out later?

Also, was it ever confirmed if Ausberry was a PWO or on scholarship?

Ibieta is healthy and was just held out of spring contact as precautionary.

Will be a full go for the fall.

No offense but healthy or not, he's not touching the field most likely.

I don't think we even know Ibieta. He's never been healthy or good enough to get playing time. May be great. Who knows except the coaches?

Didn’t Ibieta have a great HS career and was a RZ beast? Like edelman type comps?

Redshirt and Medical redshirt. Has 4 year’s eligibility when healthy, not to mention the physical growth and football IQ. Kid remained locked in, and made the decision to get healthy (surgery) on his hips.

Might cost him his tenure at LSU, but he will get to pick wherever he wants to go. Solid WR against elite competition. I’m sure he has been contacted already.

This is the kind of kid that bets on himself, he will be fine.

Saw first hand nobody can stick him. He consistently gets separation. He is healthy and unfortunately he is … LSU did him an injustice recruiting him, should have let him go to Miami.

Pre-med kid, will be all-conference when he lands. You will see soon enough some of these big names are busts.

Don’t take my opinion, ask the media that has been at all the practices.

So is he healthy? This is a weird 4 month bump.

I liked ibieta out of high school.

I think he might get some late game work this yr but next yr things are much more wide open.
