That is a great vacation.
Twice I have stayed at a villa in the Tuscan countryside about 20 miles south of Florence and I would rate that as one of my favorite vacation destinations. Sadly, my place has been sold as a private residence in the past year or so and is no longer available to rent. When I found out about that I started a thread on here asking for replacements and got some excellent recommendations although I haven’t tried any of them yet.
