MMJ in La is a huge money grab.
$250 fee to get the medical license (which is a joke, the Doctor accepts everyone as a patient if they can afford)

Then 250$ charge every 3 months to for your prescription to stay active. Meanwhile the dispensary is over priced (4x more expensive than a legal dispensary), crowded, & mid products.

The legal THC gummies from hemp are cheaper (20ish dollars) for a 20 count & provide great relief. There are some great companies like Cypress hemp, magnolia hemp, crescent, canna, fleur de leaf, etc that will be affected by our shite arse politicians & MMj/Alcohol lobbies.

This state sucks

Are you fricking kidding me????

Booby Jindal passed a law that allows you to be detained, kidnapped and strapped to a chair and have your BLOOD DRAWN from you if a corrupt arse cop SUSPECTS you of driving under the influence. THAT is some fricked up shite and the biggest infringement on rights/freedoms we've ever experienced.

You can get a Groupon for a consultation with a doctor for a reccomendation that lasts 1 year for like $60.

The 10 dispensary owners and 2 growers will price gouge the shite out of you. They lobbied for this bill, but it sounds like the real one pushing it is the alochol distibutors.

This is why I left the governors ballot empty this past fall, because a lot of these BS conservative social issues are at the forefront of issues this governor thinks we need to address. And I figured they would be, based on Landry’s campaign.

Richard Nelson was the best candidate out there. I get he was young, inexperienced, didn’t have all the connections, but he could have completely changed the trajectory of this state, and quite frankly was the only one capable of doing so because he’s so young. Of course with being so young, he didn’t stand a snowballs chance in hell in this 1800 European styled state. Of course everyone refused to even think about voting for somebody else, because of muhhh MAGA talking points by Landry. It’s just crazy to me how the same people complaining about how we need something different, get sucked into voting for the same people.

I hope Jeff Landry gets booed to hell in Tiger Stadium this fall. Won’t be a bigger slap in the face to him than hearing people who voted for him booing him. Would be an embarrassing moment for him.

Two 15 mg gummies and.......well I would not not call it a mild high by any means,.

That’s a lot at one time, IME. 5-8 mg every few hours seems to do the trick for me.
But we’re talking quantity more than effect I think.

Yep, though the price at the dispensary is still robbery.

Much easier to go to the store and pick up a $3 can of Crescent or Louie Louie.

All allowing these products into stores did was create jobs and successful businesses. It also allowed farmers an additional cash crop. So this bill is anti-farmer and anti-business.

(Not to mention the anti-personal freedom part.)

Same..... if I'm just looking for pain relief and mild pleasant feeling Ill cut one of those gummies in half. If i want to get really ripped...2 will do the trick. I was just saying the hemp derived stuff is no joke if you get the right product.

Louisiana will be one of, if not the, last states to legalize rec weed.

Damn, weed still isn’t legal in LA? It’s been legal for years now up in NY and I’m already over the novelty and don’t really even partake anymore. Haha.

Throwing people in jail for marijuana while allowing alcohol to be part of the states culture seems so stupid and evil.

I don’t smoke much anymore, maybe when the kids are at the grandparents for the weekend or on vacation to certain places.

And I find it annoying when someone is stinking up the area I am in with cannabis, but I would never in a million years want them arrested or thrown in a cage for it.

I think it has a better chance to be repealed at the federal level first the way it's looking.

Not a fan of some of Landry's stuff but lets pump the breaks on this hyperbole. At a state level there has been no bigger infringement on personal freedoms than the Edward's administration. Also, the legislature declined to pass this bill, not Landry.

WOW, i actually use the Delta 8 stuff for pain relief. I have an auto-immune disease. Pieces of trash ban shite they have no clue about. They did the same with Kratom - the guy to introduced the bill admitted he had no knowledge about it and simply had been told by a friend it was the same as Opiates(it is not at all, I use the pure powder in tea for pain once or twice a week when I have a "bad pain day".)

They really are determined to get me addicted to Opiates from a doctor. I refuse to take them though. I'm living in constant pain because of bullshite like this. I don't want to smoke weed either. I only take the gummies.

Sigh

If I were to ballpark, I would guess the OT is, easily, 85%+ conservative. Likely more.

Sorry it doesn't reach the 99% conservative echo chamber you're looking for

Just buy your product from any of the thousands of baws out there slinging it. Or get a medical green card for $200
