I see he has a guy named Josh Morott running against him. The little I see on him, he is clearly running to the right of Johnson. Does he have a shot?

If the people of Louisiana vote out the speaker of the house then they are dumber than I could have ever imagined

No, as speaker Johnsons campaign is secure. Good luck to Mr Morott though as he should challenge Johnson.

If this Josh Morott guy beats Johnson in the rep race, then he should be allowed to:
1) automatically become speaker of the house. If the rest of the house doesn't like it, they can try to oust him.
2) take ownership of all of Johnson's property (including wife, children, inheritances, etc)
3) banish Johnson from civilized society (should he choose)

At the end of the day he’s a Good Christian Man who respects the Lord and Law Enforcement and that’s all that matters to North LA folks.

Hope so. But I moved out of state so I won’t have the privilege to vote against him.

Anyone wondering why Louisiana suffers while others thrive, need only to plug into the mentality that believes that our state is better off if we vote against the person holding the most powerful job in DC and is our representative.

Put simply- you’d have to be an idiot to want to vote against johnson if he’s speaker
