Last time I checked, this is capitalism. Why is it that the poorest folks get scrutinized so hard for trying to survive in this overly capitalist, dystopian reality? Good business when a rich guy does it but a poor athlete? He's a mercenary that hurts your feels.
If you wanna go back to colleges having more public funding and less NIL, then I'm down but you can't have it both ways.

The villain in this situation is the NCAA. They felt pressure for years to pay players and they sat on their hands and did nothing until they finally got forced to flip the switch. They rolled out a major change seemingly overnight with no thought as how to regulate it.
