Hard case to solve. They'll need to identify the victim and see if they had any known enemies or someone that wanted to harm them.

Run the bullets for a ballistic match for guns used in other crimes.

Dolphins like to talk, somebody knows something.

Intelligence. They're very smart mammals, similar to a chimp. I don't want to kill shoot chimps either. In fact, I think science believes dolphins are the second smartest animal on Earth to humans. That is a level of evolution I feel should be protected more than say, an armadillo's.

Right now they aren't ruling out anyone. Probably someone close. Dolphins are pretty sexual, so possibly a jilted lover.
