Headed to Orange Beach in June. Haven't been in a few years - any recs? I do plan on trying the new Jesse's on the Bay in Fort Morgan. Cosmo's and The Gulf are on my hit-list. Not a fan of Cobalt.

Cosmos vibe sucks

Big Fish is good right there for a nicer dinner

The Gulf has a great grouper sandwich

CoastAL opened up last year right on the beach when you get into OB, and it’s a really awesome setup with decent bar food and drink. Haven’t been inside to the restaurant yet

Louisiana Langniappe
Zekes
Fishers
Lartiques for the steamed royal red/argentinas

Last May we had The Gulf, Cosmos, and Louisiana Lagniappe. Enjoyed the food at all three. Would rank my meals LL, The Gulf, Cosmos.

Someone else mentioned the grouper sandwich at The Gulf. It was damn good. And the vibe there is solid when the weather is nice.

Been a couple of years, but we always hit Wolf Bay. Hog Wild BBQ is also pretty good.

We eat at the Pier House along with other places already mentioned here and it has always been good.

Big Mike’s on Canal Rd for a good steak.
The Gulf
Doc’s
We’ve been enjoying the Sloop under the bridge in Gulf Shores. Great Philly cheesesteak.

A drive or boat ride over to Pirate's Cove in Josephine is a nice day trip. Grab a burger and a beer or bushwacker, settle in, and people watch.

On one visit I saw an Amazon goddess in a bikini, as well as a heavily tatted muscle chick who, when challenged, tossed a frat boy across her shoulders and squatted him three times to the delight of the crowd.

We've hit up Carver's Steakhouse in Orange Beach the past few trips down there. It's always been a great meal.

Hell I'd recommend different places than the usual list but every time I look them up they didn't make it and closed down. Wife's family enjoys going to Gulf Shores Steamer every trip.

I will add though we really enjoy going to the SanBar near steamers. Have a very good bushwaker & live music playing all outside.

Gulf Shores/Orange Beach dining options (especially nicer places) are terrible for the amount of traffic and demand the area gets

Most nights better to just cook in the house/condo but eventually you want to go somewhere out to eat and it almost always disappoints

Will check out CoastAL this summer

Gulf is pretty good but not real good in Gulf fish. Great scenery, reasonable prices but eating is third

Wentzels is solid

Cobalt is top end and super scenery. If you into fried foods pass.

The Point in Perdido is good and very local and does all well and has a band usually. Desotos and Mikes in Gulf Shores are as authentic and family friendly as it comes.

On pizza ti eat at home I’d recommend Janinos. Usually eat there but this time was talked into trying Crico’s. Only because Janine’s won’t deliver east of 59. Well we will now go to them now as Janinos is far better then Crico’s. If you like soggy pizza with everything but the kitchen sink Crico’s is your place. If you like real pizza and real crust and sauce and cheese I’d go to Janinos. They also make a great side salad.

Avenue pub & Playa are always in our rotation. Both are located on the bay.

Ate at Acme Oyster House in Gulf Shores week or so ago. Solid. Very good Louisiana raw oysters. Po-boys (shrimp, ouster and soft shell crab) were great. One had a crab cake which was good. Good drink menu. Will go back.
