you obviously have never watched Jokic or Steph. KD doesn’t whine much I’ll give him that.

I think the general public wouldn’t view him as the hypocrite he is if he just played basketball.

But he’s actively spoken on some things and not others. What’s the big motto that certain groups like to use? Silence is violence?

I guess my rebuttal would be that I dont take anything our President says about politics seriously, he's a clueless idiot. Why would I care about what a basketball player that went straight to the NBA out of high school has to say/thinks about politics?

If he has a political opinion I disagree with, that should be expected.

Again, do a comparison in post game comments. That’s what the OP is about, not bitching on the court which they all do too many times to count. Don’t muddy the waters we’re talking about threads relative to post game comments criticizing officials.

It’s not necessarily that people agree or disagree with him. He should just shite up and play basketball. I think we agree on that part.

But he’s a hypocrite. He larches on to the cool talking points at the time like George Floyd, which he’s wrong about and those don’t even matter. But when it comes to things that are actually important, he’s silent because he doesn’t have enough info lol

Lebron and mj are both egotistical shitheads that don’t care about anyone other than themselves

Which is why these threads are always classic. Who gives a frick about either one of them on a personal level? Only females should care.

I am curious. Michael Jordan still wields great power and influence. Has he spoken about the China issues? I really have no idea. But if he hasn’t, is that okay just because he didn’t speak on other political things?

HOLD UP.

I mentioned that Lebron is ruining basketball (as a whole). I also mentioned "basketball role model". As in being competitive instead of teaming up with the 2nd best or blaming others.

You took the word "role model" and followed it up with:

quote:

Do you really think Jordan was a better role model than Lebron?

Jordan lives in your head rent free. I didn't even make a comparison.

quote:

It was clearly a Lebron hater that was the first to mention anything outside basketball

No it was that specific comment that YOU pointed out to avoid the conversation.

People that scream "hater" for stating facts are usually delusional or just stupid.

Lebron should do like he’s been trying to do his whole career and “be like Mike”

I like how the first thing he does after blowing a 20 point lead and missing a wide open 3 to seal the game was to follow the refs around and complain about not getting a call like a Karen wanting to complain to the manager

No one wastes time doing these threads for Jokic, Steph, KD, etc

I do happen to remember a couple of big Kobe threads from many years ago.

I'm not taking sides in this debate, but Jordan also quit for an entire season.
