Can't you get in line on line?
Ohio BMV lets you check in on line, gives you an ID #, puts you in a wait line and texts you to come inside when ur number is just about ready to be called.
And you're not wrong.

Yes, you are supposed to be able to. But for whatever reason, I could not get in line on their website that day. Every time I clicked the link, it pulled up a page that said "no days available" or something like that. I'm thinking that too many people were already in the line, even though I tried to get in the line electronically at like 7:30 that morning, an hour before they even opened.
