Yall obviously do not live in Austin area. . No one thinks it's great but the dweeb liberals tht live in the city. How many times have you had to step over a homeless person to get into an elite restaurant in Baton Rouge? That's an everyday occurrence in Austin. People living outside the city never go into it for anything.

I grew up in BR, went to LSU, graduated in 2022, and moved to Austin.
BR is a dump
Austin's parks and rec, nightlife, comedy and music scene, and downtown/urban environment is awesome.
As mentioned, only downside is high COL, activist politicians, and wokies.
But for someone single in their 20s-30s, ATX is the place to be.
