Even Trump's attorney admitted there was no immunity for private acts, and the acts described in the indictment were private acts.

He'll still get his delay because SCOTUS is corrupt, but he didn't have any logic in his arguments.

No reasonable person thinks that immunity extends to private acts.

Imagine thinking that remand so that the trial court can actually make the determination at issue in the case is "corrupt."

Trump was president when documents were shipped and stored. As a private citizen he didn’t do a thing illegal as he’s stated he declassified documents prior to, unlike Biden who for 49 years had classified documents stolen and in possession.

Post election actions can be construed as official and really, there is some precedent for the activities done on behalf aof Trump....see Hawaii in 1960, not exactly the same, but not entirely different either. Plus Trump is POTUS at that point.

His only real exposure is the documents case. Smith is aiming more for proving an Obstruction angle since so much of what actually involves the real documents is really more of a civil matter. Trump acted stupidly in that and deserves some legal grief .
