as you can tell, the bad guys will always get a gun no matter what. Gun laws will never stop the bad guys from getting a gun and using it to do harm. However, if you allow the good guys to have guns then the bad guys will think twice, because the bad guy is no longer in control and the target is no longer a soft target.

Really not how it works. Criminals are dumb and don't care who might or maybe have a gun they will still commit crimes regardless. That's what makes them criminals in the first place.
