He may not have contributed much with the Jags, but he was infinitely more productive and a huge team leader as a junior at LSU. It was a very similar situation. Both players with big upside tore their ACL in the first game of their sophomore season. I remember seeing videos of Chiasson doing sprints at six weeks post op. He was awarded #18 by his teammates. Maason looked out of shape and slow almost all year. He made the right decision obviously because he was drafted in the second round. This will be interesting to watch going forward.
