All the way down to RPI #3.

LSU generally has a top 10 RPI every year but we also aren’t remotely close to competing for an SEC title or even getting back to Oklahoma City. Beth will win her share of games but we lack consistency, mental toughness, overall player development to be among the elite now. We are simply a middle of the pack SEC team, not bad by any means but not very good either.

Not saying fire anyone but this program still kinda stuck in square one. Next year will be even worse, it’s gonna be a massive rebuild replacing a lot of seniors. And just because you replace seniors who have limited production it’s no guarantee the new ones will be better. McKee and daniels are living proof of this

Life gets more difficult next year with Texas and OU coming in for the entire conference

It was like a home game for Hogs tonight. Their fans were bringing it. Their players were up in the dugout and intense at the plate. They forced 120ish pitches from Berzon. Meanwhile, our players seem very passive and distracted. There is no awareness of situations at the plate. We pinch hit batters with no experience who swing at a pitch way out of the zone on a 2-0 count and hit a weak dribbler with runners in scoring position to let the pitcher off the hook. It happens over and over rather than learn and adjust the next time. This was advertised as a senior laden team with great experience but she seems to be relying on freshmen in crucial situations. If she doesn’t get out of a regional at home again this year, I just can’t see how Scott ignores that.
