Just my thoughts

Lever action rifles are a thing of beauty. They are classic as our history can dictate.

I will always remember a Remington 22 lever iron sights, squirrel hunting. Shooting as fast as I could work it at 14 years old. Missing almost all of the time

My dad bought me a Henry .22 and it's as smooth as silk. It's a gun of choice now for my wife and my 8 year old son.

The shite they're making now with lever rifles is terrible. The world changes and so is life.

Fair enough.

Off topic but I saw you posting in another thread about being at Dega last weekend. How are the "new" campgrounds? I haven't been in over 20 years but my oldest is wanting to go next year.

I figured f it, I may as well take the camper and make a weekend out of it.

Glad to read your post. Recently picked up the H001 for the wife. I am about to start a leather butt sling mount. A cowgirl sling, if you will. I’m excited to give it to her as it will be her first Henry.
