Someone literally posted a statute showing this is common. You are no better than the idiot leftists who don’t wait for all the details to come out before you start making assumptions and passing judgement.

Not exactly the same thing, but I did have a neighbor poison my dog for stealing eggs.
I lived a pretty rural area. We had no fences, no highways anywhere close. Dogs just roamed the country side. One dog kept coming back home with a chicken egg in his mouth. I thought it was kinda crazy my dog would travel such a long distance with eggs in his mouth. One day my dog came home acting weird. Then he went into a seizure. Vet confirmed he’d been poisoned.
I didn’t get upset with my neighbors. It was my fault for letting the dog run wild. Hard lesson to learn.
Just last week a guy I work with shot his two German shepherds for mauling his horse’s legs. I thought it was shitty, but it does happen.
