So you are implying that a CP3 backup type deal is ideal if the money worked right?

I’m not against that, but that’s a short term solution. Also, Jose got played off the floor because he was too short for the matchup. Maybe CP3 brings more offense, but I can’t imagine him fairing much better defensively.

As much as we “wanted” OKC over Denver, I wonder if it’s a worse matchup. You still lose to Denver, but it might not feel as frustrating because they probably wouldn’t have shut the offense down, they just would have out scored it and you would have felt like you got a few punches in at least. This has been a fairly one sided beat down.
