TBF, the best-case scenario now is pretty much 13-17 in the conference, 1-2 in the SEC tourney, and a 3-seed on the West Coast somewhere. A far cry from #2 in the country.

Anyone who blindly pumps sunshine in the face of serious deficiencies is definitely a better fan than me. That said, I’m old enough to know you are not out of the fight until you are mathematically out of the fight. Until that happens, I will continue to be a fan who can objectively criticize.

Uh, it's still very unlikely that this team makes the tournament.
We probably have a 20% chance to make the tournament I would think.
