It’s really very simple.

LSU sits at 7-13 in conference play with 10 games remaining.

13-17 gets them squarely on the bubble. 50-50. (Going for them, they would finish strong the last 5 weeks of conference series games. Going against them, weak non-con schedule and no series wins against ranked teams.)

14-16 gets them in.

Just have to find a way to win 7 of next 10 SEC games.

Today is crucial. Win today, they have to take 2/3 in last 3 series or can just win 1/3 against A&M, sweep one, and win 2/3.

Lose today, they have to go 2/3 in 2 and sweep another.
